That’s right, they …
That’s right, they are mainly appetite supressors. They’re stimulants that you can get addicted to. I monkeyed around with Hydroxycut for about 6 months back in 2001. I was working out hard, both strength and cardio. However I was consuming a few too many calories on too many days. Not that much more, but a few more then needed. I gave hydroxycut a try. My weight didn’t move much. Maybe it did something…or maybe not. But, when I went off of them, boy did I go into withdrawl. They’re unneeded!

I thought I might …
I thought I might add that losing weight using stimulants often results in as much muscle loss as fat loss.

R, you are right, …
R, you are right, most (I’m tempted to say “all”) fat burning supplements/drugs are stimulants. The only strength in them is that they curb the appetite; they have more to do with preventing calories from being eaten, than they to do with speeding the metabolism. True, some of these drugs cause your body to burn more cals at rest (causing your body to heat up, etc.), but like Steve said, this does not compare to 35 miles of walking. Gains=minimal, & stimulants are bad for your health.

The real point of …
The real point of the video is people think they can eat UNLIMITED amounts of food, take a pill and lose weight. It may help increase metabolism and help quell hunger but you still need some self discipline.

you don’t know what …
you don’t know what your talking about, they do work, not all of them. most of them are mainly stimulants which speeds your heart rate up, which increases your metabolism, which by taking this pill, everything you do in your day, the calories you burn doing them, are increased by this pill, maybe not a lot but if you add up everything that you’ve done in the past 3 months of dieting while taking this pill, it all adds up making a big difference on weather you would have not of been taking them.

this may sound crazy, but I lost 17 lbs in 2 months using the old formula of hydroxycut (back in the day when ephedra was legal) and I didn’t even do cardio, but I had to stop because I had like a manic episode at work, the pills were making me insane in the head. but I went from having fat on my stomach to having a six pack(the dosage was insane, I think it was 6 pills a day)

Your science is …
Your science is quite poor. You obviously have no real understanding of the human body, am I not right in saying that you claim it is possible to both lose weight and gain muscle at the same time? Any nutritionist would tell you that is just incoreect.
